In 1999, I received my two-year associates degree in massage therapy from Lane Community College and have since had extensive continuing education in a range of modalities, nationally as well as in several countries abroad. My toolbox includes; deep tissue massage, neuromuscular reeducation, active stretching, reflexology, stone therapy, aromatherapy, myofascial release, proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation, sports massage, cranial sacral therapy, injury management, reiki, and over 700 hours in lymphatic massage training.
I am a recent graduate from Oregon State University with a Bachelors of Science in Exercise Science and Nutrition. I am excited to put my degree as well as my massage experience to use in my new endeavor as a seasonal teacher at the Costa Rica School of Massage Therapy.
I find a great source of joy in being able to facilitate wellness through massage therapy. I look forward to working with each person's specific needs to reduce inflammation, pain and tension while increasing overall balance, awareness, and range of motion.
